Bioshock HD Collection Announced by 2K games (Updated)

It\’s not Bioshock 4, but it\’s definitely a good start.

After being leaked a billion times, 2K has finally confirmed that Bioshock: The Collection does exist and even showed off a snazzy reveal trailer.

Coming soon to PS4, Xbox One and PC. $60 dollars down and these three will tout upgraded visuals to fit in with their current gen brethren. It will include all three campaigns and DLC add-ons, which is rad since Bioshock has some of the best DLC I can recall. It won\’t include Bioshock 2\’s lackluster multiplayer, but that was forced on and not very good to begin with.

It\’s probably worth noting that you can pick all three up on Steam if you\’re a PC user for mad cheap right now thanks to the Steam summer sale.

Guys… I really love Bioshock.

It\’s one of those series that despite having a linear narrative, I can play it again and again and still be in love.
The tone, the atmosphere, the sound, the look. These games nail it on all levels. (Even if Bioshock Infinite didn\’t live up to its E3 hype.) It has a wonderful story that\’s worthy of a cinematic counterpart. Even though I own all three, I won\’t be the least bit surprised when I open up my wallet for this stellar collection of games.

(Update:)
Sources close to me (Antonio), have just informed me of some wonderful news for you PC owners:
If you already own the PC versions of Bioshock 1, 2 or the DLC pack Minerva\’s Den, you will receive the updated HD versions at no cost!
Bioshock Infinite won\’t be getting an HD update, since it already looks incredible (seriously, it\’s the first thing I rushed to benchmark when I built my PC), but considering the current prices with the Steam Summer Sale, this is almost TOO good an opportunity to miss!

Bioshock: The Collection will release September 16, 2016 for $59.99.

I'm unabashedly in love with Nintendo; ESPECIALLY Zelda! Spelunky is my jam. Burritos are life.
