Star Wars: Battlefront 2

  • beta will begin in the fall and release on November 11, 2017
  • those who pre-order the game will receive early access to the beta as well as exclusive in-game content related to The Last Jedi that includes exclusive outfits, vehicles, and access to hero and starfighter cards
  • future content updates will be free and that the first wave of content updates will add Finn and Captain Phasma to the game as playable heroes

Madden 18

  • out August 25 for current-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles with no mention of Switch or previous-gen
  • now built using EA’s Frostbite engine which produces highly-detailed visuals as evidenced in the in-game screenshot below
  • has a story mode titled Longshot which promises a dramatic narrative similar to the one in FIFA 17
  • some new features include Play New NFL Matchups new play styles, target passing, coach adjustments, coverage assignments, and MUT Squads 3 vs 3 Online
  • expect to hear and see more during EA Play some time in June

  • You’ll be able to dress as Link in Skyrim for Switch. Game also includes motion control support as well as amiibo support
  • DOOM FVR was announced as a virtual reality title that has you teleporting around areas and shooting hellspawn. It’s releasing on PSVR and Vive
  • Perhaps more impressively, Fallout 4 VR was shown off again. Yes, this is the entirety of Fallout 4 playable in VR…..at least for HTC Vive owners. I keep holding out hope for PSVR
  • B.J. Blazkowicz will be a playable character in Quake Champions. There will also be a $1M prize tournament held in Dallas, TX on August 26
  • The Elder Scrolls Legends is getting a lot of new content including a Chaos arena, Dark Brotherhood story content, in-game tournaments. It’s coming next month to iPhone and Android and fans can look forward to a Skyrim-focused expansion called Heroes of Skyrim releasing on June 29.
  • Dishonored 2 is getting standalone DLC called Death of the Outsider that’s focused on Billie Lurk teaming up with Billie Lurk to take down The Outsider.
  • The sequel to Evil Within will grace your television this October on Friday the thirteenth
  • BJ Blazkowicz isn’t just showing up in id’s shooter, he’s also coming back in a new Wolfenstein game called, creatively, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. The sequel takes place in 1961 with Blazkowicz taking on the Nazis in a conquered America while being aided by resistance fighters. It’ll blast it’s way to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One Oct. 27.
  • Elder Scrolls Online is letting fans return to Morrowind in a massive addition to the title which is available now.
