PlayStation

  • Sony is still taunting us with Crash Bandicoot teases like this post on Twitter

Xbox

  • Red Dead Redemption on Xbox One was an accidental beta leak. It should be coming in the future. Actual games released are Lego Batman, Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space, and Trials HD.

  • Quantum Break is coming to PC and Xbox One on April 5

  • According to this tweet from Phil Spencer the team plans to bring cross-buy/cross-save to the Xbox platform. Likely between Xbox One and PC or Windows 10 store games.


Nintendo

  • It seems Star Fox Zero is having some development issues relating to motion controls sources claim. According to Nintendo the game is still on track for an April release.

  • Pokken Tournament eShop page is up with details, tentative file size (around 4GB), and screenshots.


Misc Gaming

  • Titanfall 2 will feature a grounded, dirty single player campaign for Xbox an PS4. Toys based on series coming out this year.

  • Amazon, seemingly out of nowhere, released a new gaming engine called Lumberyard for free.

  • There will be a Sonic The Hedgehog movie in partnership with Sony coming out in 2018

  • Ubisoft officially announced there will not be a new Assassin’s Creed this year but we can expect to see Watch Dogs 2 by March of 2017

  • Fallout 4’s 1.03 patch makes the game look better on consoles with significantly further draw distance (less pop in) among other enhancements and bug fixes.

  • Activision announced a Destiny sequel is coming in 2017 along with an expansion for the current version of Destiny later this year

  • Hideo Kojima has a YouTube show called HideoTube under his company Kojima Productions
