Who doesn’t love talking animals? Escaping the harsh realities of this adult life by engaging with phonetic creatures who walk, talk, start a commercial empire to monopolize all media you consume and sell you churros for 5 bucks a pop. It’s just part of the American way.
Sorry, I got carried away. Anyways, I’m certainly a fan of Anthropomorphic dudes with swords   —  and apparently, so is THQ Nordic.
After being leaked a bit early, THQ Nordic has confirmed the existence of Biomutant – A post apocalyptic, open world, action-RPG, which the website claims will sport “A new take on 3rd person combat.”
Going on, they say that the “martial arts style combat system allows you maximum freedom of movement and agility while mixing shooting, melee and powers…”  They also hint at a sizable looting and customization feature allowing you to craft to your heart’s desire.

Looks neat, right? Open world RPG’s are in no shortage these days, but this looks like a pretty unique spin on the genre, hopefully placing emphasis on story, rather than content. Honestly though, all they needed to do here is say “Redwall with guns and kung-fu”, and I would have been sold.
