Pokémon GO is Getting Quests and Nintendo Patents a Wario Land Game

Area 35 previously announced that Tiny Metal would be getting multiplayer functionality. Today, the studio confirmed that the feature will be added as a free update sometime in May.
Pokémon GO is receiving a storyline, quests, and more. Niantic describes how it will work below.

”Trainers will begin receiving research tasks later this week, adding new activities and challenges that can be completed for in-game rewards. Some of these rewards will lead Trainers to access unique storylines that include discovering the mystery behind the Mythical Pokémon Mew.
Nintendo has filed several new trademarks for “downloadable videogame programs” in Japan. Most of them are for titles we know have upcoming releases like Smash Bros and Luigi’s Mansion. But the odd one is Wario Land, which currently has no new game announced.
Floor Kids has been updated to version 1.8.1 with improvements like video capture and a new practice dance mode. The full list of improvements is below.
