Nintendo

  • To further pull at your nostalgia strings, Nintendo is resurrecting the Power Line for a weekend in celebration of the NES Classic Mini launch. Simply call 425-885-7529 between 9AM and 10PM Eastern each day (until the night of the 13th) and you can get both hints for “several” games as well as stories from people who manned the phones on the original line back in the 1980s. The hints are prerecorded, but it’s still a fun peek at what it was like for gamers before the internet was an it deal.

  • PokĂ©mon GO received another update this week that reward players with bonuses for the first PokĂ©mon they catch and the first PokĂ©Stop they visit each day along with a handful of other changes you can read about here.

  • Miitomo has received a massive 2.0 update that adds features like customizing your room and more. You can read the five biggest new features on the official website.

  • After declining the rumor last week, Nintendo confirmed this week that Wii U production has, in fact, ceased. This makes perfect sense as the Nintendo Switch is right around the corner.
