Xbox

  • Microsoft has announced the Xbox Wireless Tech Series Controller with premium finishes like a laser etched texture on the front with gold accents and insignia are on the front of the controller. The back of the controller features textured diamond rubberized grip for added control and comfort. It will be available worldwide April 25 for $69.99.

Nintendo

  • There once was a time, not so long ago, when the Nintendo Treehouse and those who worked there were top secret. That all changed a couple years ago when Nintendo brought these talented folks into the spotlight during E3 with their all day streaming Treehouse Live event. Now the company is taking it a step further with the creating of Treehouse Log, a dedicated Tumblr blog where they’ll share all kinds of information.

  • Nintendo has released an official statement regarding the Left Joycon issue many (depending on who you talk to) have been facing since the Switch’s launch. The company said the issue has been resolved at the factory level and was the result of “manufacturing variations”. Those with effected Joycons can send them in to Nintendo where they will apply a shielding piece of foam that, according to CNET, has completely resolved their issue.

  • Telltale Games’ CEO, NAME HERE, is stepping down with company co-founder Dan Conners will taking his place.

  • Overwatch’s latest character, Orisa, is now available to play as across all platforms.

  • Dark Souls III is receiving a PS4 Pro patch that will “improve the frame rate”. Whatever that means. It also includes a slew of general fixes you can read all about here.

  • The team at Playtonic Games aren’t too pleased with the wild thoughts YouTuber JonTron has regarding immigration. So much so that the company is pulling the voice acting he did a year or so back from the studio’s upcoming game Yooka-Laylee.


Rumors

  • According to a supposed leaked poster, Destiny 2 will arrive September 8 of this year.
