We Happy Few is all kinds of weird.

Part Bioshock. Part 1984. All strange.

We Happy Few is an upcoming title from Compulsion Games that will try to take all your weird bones and juice them… Hard. Taking place in 1964, the game plots you as a character in a dystopian society where citizens take drugs known as \”Joy\” in order to make them see the world a certain way. When the protagonist rebels from the practice, he begins to see the world in a whole new light. Obviously, things take a strange turn soon after. Take a look!

A first person survival experience, the feel of the game takes seems to take major inspiration from Ken Levine and 2K game\’s classic Bioshock series.

That\’s not a bad thing! I\’ve been waiting for another game to strike those same chords for a while now. Though I\’m not fond of some of the crafting elements that have been shown, (it\’s a bit over done at this point) the game looks gorgeous and has some major atmosphere to boot. \"unspecified-1\"

The tone of the game isn\’t surprising, as Compulsion Games did a tremendous job capturing that unique tone of dark mystery (psychological noir?) with their last title Contrast.

I'm unabashedly in love with Nintendo; ESPECIALLY Zelda! Spelunky is my jam. Burritos are life.
