PlayStation VR Priced at $399. Comes out in October 2016.

For the record, I fucking called it. I called it so hard. People scoffed at me, mocked me, and shouted obscenities at me when I predicted PlayStation VR would be well below Oculus\’s $599 price tag.

Ok. That\’s a lie. Not all of it. Just the part about vulgarities.

People really didn\’t believe me though. I figured Sony would launch the VR peripheral somewhere betwenn $299 and $399 with the latter being the maximium I could see them shooting for. Surely they can\’t ask for too much more than what the console itself sells for. I\’m really excited to try it out at PAX East this year, but even without trying it I\’m pretty sold compared to the few VR headsets I have tried. Here\’s the details we know currently.
