Ubisoft E3 2018 Roundup

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Ubisoft started strong with an insane trailer for BGE2. I mean i.n.s.a.n.e! They also showed some more pre-alpha gameplay footage, and for pre-alpha the game is absolutely jaw-dropping. This open world action RPG can be played solo or with a friend. Ubisoft also partnered with a company which will allow anyone to create content for the game.

Trials Rising

The latest entry in the Trials series is set to release February 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. It looks really funny and made me laugh a bit.

The Division 2

This sequel is a reimagining of the original and adds what everyone has been asking for since the original’s release a couple years ago. To start, The Division 2 will have a lot more end game content, introduce raids, and includes three pieces of free DLC in it’s first year. You can preload the beta which will be available soon on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Swi—kidding—just PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Mario + Rabbids Donkey Kong Adventure DLC

Watch this just to see the talented Grant Kirkhope orchestrate music from the Donkey Kong DLC live.

Skull & Bones

Sea of Thieves won’t be the only looting pirate adventure players will have to choose from as Ubisoft’s Skull & Bones looks like it may be a good time on the seas. The game will have both PvE and PvP modes. Watch the trailer for a better idea of what sets it apart from other pirate titles.

Transference

This game looks trippy as fuck, and it’s coming to VR on Vive and PSVR this fall. You can still play the title normally on PS4 and Xbox One.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Okay, so, here’s the thing. This game screams Star Fox meets alien life forms from No Man’s Sky. I mean, part of that is because Fox McCloud is in this game! That should be awesome and we were so pumped until we realized it’s a toys to life game. With that said, the modular space ship idea is cool. You can grab this title on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch October 16, 2018.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft revealed what looks like Origins at first blush, but is actually wholly different from the other titles before it with RPG elements and branching dialogue choices throughout the campaign. Like it was rumored, the Ass Odyssey (lol) will take you to Greece as either a male or female depending on what you pick. The title will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC October 5, 2018.

The Crew 2

It’s like The Crew 1 only newer and fancier. Check out the open beta for yourself when it arrives soon on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The beta can be pre-loaded now.

For Honor Update

A new game mode called Breach Mode was announced, and the developers are confident it will become a new flagship mode. A new faction called The Wu Lin will also be added. You can grab the starter edition for free on Uplay for a limited time.

Just Dance 2019

I don’t know what to say, it’s another filler title in the franchise.
