Amazon Removes PSN Pre-Orders and Vouchers and Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Gets Loot Boxes

I tried to preorder God of War standard edition for PS4 on Amazon, only to be greeted with a “This item is currently unavailable” message. I figured it was odd, but I really wanted to use my 20% off, so I decided to try again—no luck. “Okay”, I thought, “I guess I’ll use my Amazon credit to purchase a PSN digital code……except all of those are currently unavailable too. In fact—you can’t preorder any big Sony upcoming exclusive title such as Detroit: Become Human or Spider-Man. Clearly something is going on behind the scenes with these two companies, but whatever it is, they need to figure it the fuck out for consumers’ sake.
Sony’s Spider-Man PS4 exclusive video game will also be receiving a prequel novel titled Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover as well as an art book called Spider-Man: The Art of the Game with the novel set to release August 21 and the art book set to release on September 11.

The new update patches in a set of Fortune Cookies, which offer a randomized set of clothing, props, and furniture for your to decorate your camp with. They also added a set premium Fortune Cookies which offer a chance of even better items for a higher price. The problem is, these premium Fortune Cookies don’t just unlock the item, but provide stamps you’ll need to use to eventually purchase it. This ultimately means you’ll need to sink a large sum of money into Pocket Camp to be within a chance of getting the new gear you really want.
